Year 9 Basic Numeracy

Currently in Year 9 we are concentrating on updating and improving our basic maths skills in preparation for studying Maths GCSE in September.

We are revising our multiplication tables upto 15 x 15.
We are learning how to perform long multiplication manually.
We are learning what the factors of a number are along with square roots and cube roots.

If you wish to practice your skills in this area you can use
MyMaths

If you see Mr Marlow he will remind you of what the logins and passwords are.

There is also a nice explanation of how to carry out long multiplication at Teaching Image. This website also has lots and lots of practice exercises.
