Summer Vacation Homework

The process of tiling (without leaving gaps) in mathematics is called tessellation. The process is explained in the video.


Tessellations occur throughout art and architecture. They are particularly prominent amongst Moorish or Muslim decoration where images of living beings can be seen as blasphemous.
